Betmarkets Review 2021 – Should You Invest?

Betmarkets is a platform that allows you to invest in tipsters and have all of the bets placed automatically for you.

In this Betmarkets review we will look at how the platform functions. The betting tipsters they offer and my personal results using the platform.

As someone that has been looking at automated sports betting strategies for a while. I was very excited to test out what Betmarkets had to offer.

What is Betmarkets?

Betmarkets launched in 2020, the platform is very easy to use. It allows you to allocate funds to a number of vetted betting tipsters.

The platform places bets in the Asian betting markets and also with betting exchanges. The business model of these bookmakers and exchanges are different to that of the big European bookmakers.

Rather then limiting winning customers like their European counter parts, The Asian bookmakers rely more on profiting on turnover.

So Betmarkets focuses on tipsters that have shown historically to be able to profit from the Asian or exchange markets.

How Do Betmarkets Make Money?

So whenever a new betting platform or product is released. One of the first things I want to understand is how does their business model work.

To understand how Betmarkets business model works I will just quickly go through how you invest in a tipster.

Allocating Funds To A Betmarkets Tipster

Allocating funds to a tipster is very simple. You choose the amount you wish to invest along with your chosen staking plan (Also choosing if you want to reinvest profits and compound your investment or not).

Then the Betmarkets platform takes care of the rest, as bets are placed automatically on your behalf.

Betmarkets Review Arvis

There are no subscription fees for Betmarkets or joining fee. The way that the Betmarkets business model works is that they take a share of the profit made by tipsters. If a tipster makes a profit over a 3 month period then 20% of the profit is shared between the tipster and the platform.

It is a simple premise and one that I really like.

If you wish to watch a video explaining how Betmarkets works and my own experience with the platform so far. You can click on the video below.

Betmarkets Review – Profit Share

Let’s look at an example of how the profit share works by looking at my top performing tipsters.

So above you can see the top two performing tipsters in my portfolio.

Arvis is a tipster that specializes in hockey and Sander is a basketball tipster.

Currently Arvis is showing a profit of £97, you can see at the end of the image the fees that are due. If this profit is maintained then a fee of £19.31 will be paid at the end of March.

Fee’s are applicable on a quarterly basis (March, June, October, December)

You can see that Sander is showing a profit of £52.48 and fees of £9.57 are due. This is a little lower then 20% as 20% would be £10.49. The reason behind this is that he was in small profit during the previous 3 months and a small fee had already been paid out.

As you can see below £1.16 was paid previously on the 12/2020.

You may also notice that this has been taken off his overall profit. This means that Betmarkets shows you the profit made after fees have been taken.

I think this very positive as it shows that the platform is transparent about the profit and not hiding any hidden costs.

Losing Tipsters

Alright so we have looked at what happens with winning tipsters.

Let’s take a look at how the profit fees are handled with losing tipsters.

Betmarkets Thiago

This is Thiago one of the tennis tipsters at Betmarkets.

So far Thaigo has not managed to make a profit. You can see from the picture above that Thiago is currently -£38.51 overall from his betting. This meant that in December no fees were paid out to Thaigo and also his losses carried over to the next period.

Losses are always carried over, they are never reset.

This means that a tipster has to make a profit for you before you have to pay any fees. So for example Thiago will have to make up the £38.51 in losses and show a profit, before the end of March in order for a fee to be taken.

If he does not make over £38.51 or incurs more losses then this will be carried over into the next 3 month cycle.

Again, until he makes a long term profit the losses will be continually carried over.

Betmarkets Review – Who Are Their Tipsters?

Betmarkets have done an excellent job of getting some of the best and most reputable tipsters from around the world.

They have also done an excellent job of providing its users with a varied amount of data to assess each tipster.

On the Betmarkets team are the likes of Nishikori from Pyckio, Neil Macdonald from Bookie Insiders and Greg Gordan from the Smart Betting Club.

In total at the time of writing there are 44 tipsters on the Betmarkets platform.

Nishikori Betmarkets

This is the first set of data that you will see when you select a tipster to look at.

  • Amount of bets
  • Number of people copying this tipster already
  • Return on total investment
  • Edge on Pinnacle closing odds
  • Yield per bet
  • Maximum drawdown using historical data

There is also a bio for each tipster. Outlining some general information such as how many bets they make on average a week, what markets they specialize in etc.

When breaking down their overall results you can look at their statistics year by year.

Betmarkets Review Nishikori

Or if you prefer, you can look at their overall results from when they started tipping.

Betmarkets Nishikori Results

If you want to dig really deep you can look at a tipsters results on a individual bet by bet basis.

There is also the ability to break it down by competition.

Nishikori Results

Overall there is a really impressive amount of data available for you to break a down a tipsters record. Then build a portfolio of tipsters that suit your style of betting.

My Betmarkets Results So Far

I have been with the Betmarkets platform for around 2 months now. Initially I only followed a few tipsters in order to get comfortable with the platform.

After a little thought I decided I would go for a high turnover approach and now have a portfolio of 27 tipsters.

My initial investment into Betmarkets is £1000, which was converted into just under 1100 euros.

Betmarkets Review Results

After 3057 bets.

A loss of -£60.39 has been made.

The return on initial investment is -4.65%, however the average closing edge has been positive at 3.08% (The closing odds do not include the margin and not all closing odds are recorded. Some bets are made live, others such as esports don’t record closing edges.)

So I imagine a few people reading this will be put off after seeing a negative figure from over 3000 bets.

However having done thousands of value bets myself and also having exploited thousands of casino offers. I know that sometimes you can hit long stretches where you are break even or slightly losing.

Especially if if your edge is relatively small.

There is a an excellent video highlighting how variance effects betting results that I added below.

Another reason that i don’t want to throw in the towel early with my investment. Is that I also know two other individuals who joined the platform before me, who both are in profit.

On this blog I have wrote about how sports betting is a long term game.

Betmarkets is no different.

I am willing to wait a few more months and see a few more thousands bets before I make any judgement on results or look at changing my betting portfolio.

Betmarkets Review – Positives

Here are some of the most positive aspects I have found so far on the Betmarkets platform.

Being Able To Follow Live Bets

This is a big positive for me. The ability to have bets placed in live markets automatically.

The live betting markets offer a lot of opportunity and also liquidity. Another positive is they don’t tend to be as sharp as pre-match markets. Due to the fact that the variables are always changing in-play.

If you are ever manually following a tipster that bets in live markets it can be a nightmare to follow.

They place bets when you are sleeping, when your eating your tea, out walking with your family. It can be very frustrating when your constantly missing winners and only get on the losers.

Betmarkets Live Bets

So the ability to have this all automated for you is a major plus for me.

Time Efficient

Its a time efficient way of approaching sports betting.

I have been betting for a long period of time and for close to 4 years I have been documenting my results on monthly basis.

In total I have put thousands of hours into sports betting and exploiting casino offers. Recently I have been looking for ways to increase turnover without having to put to a lot of extra hours into it.

Bets Placed

Betmarkets is perfect for those of us that don’t have a tonne of extra time to put into our betting. Once you have built your portfolio it is pretty much set and forget. You can then check it on a monthly or bi monthly basis to make alterations.

Betmarkets Review – Negatives

Probably the number one negative that has been pointed out with Betmarket’s is the lack of deposit options.

A lot of sports bettors are used to being able to deposit with debit or credit card and instantly being able to use their funds.

Betmarket Deposit Options

However currently Betmarkets only offer bank transfer, revolut, monzo and deposits via cryptocurrencies to UK customers (deposit options are different depending on country.)

Betmarkets FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Here are some of the most frequent questions that have been asked about Betmarkets.

The response is from the Betmarkets team.

Do tipsters have a cap on the amount of money they manage?

“Absolutely. Yes, each bettor has a personalized cap depending on the liquidity on the markets they manage. In case that a bet is not 100% placed, the amount is distributed on a pro-rata basis per each copier, weighted on the amount they have allocated to that bettor.”

“On smaller leagues where liquidity is an issue, we will never be placing EV- bets – once the odds are below what the bettor has defined as the min. odds (what (s)he believes to be the threshold at which the bet goes from EV+ to EV-) we will stop placing until the odds bounce back.”

“If the odds do not bounce back on pre-match, the bettor is allowed to stake the remaining during live betting, should (s)he wish to do so.”

What level of protection is there regarding player funds?

“Player funds are held on a segregated account so there is no liability regarding a potential Betmarkets insolvency. We operate under UK/European standards.”

Betmarkets Review – Conclusion

This review is ongoing at the moment.

I don’t feel like I can come to any firm conclusion about the Betmarkets platform so far.

My plan is to update results every few months here and on youtube.

Then really delve into the results after a full year on the platform.

Obviously so far results haven’t been positive and time will tell if this will end up being a profitable investment for myself.

However I feel there are a lot of positives with the platform and I have been impressed with the level of tipsters that they have managed to bring on board.

Best Football Prediction Sites For Betting 2022

Best football prediction sites

The football betting markets are are huge.

Billions of pounds are wagered every year on football, it is a sport where if you can find an edge.

Then that edge can make you a lot of money as we have seen from football traders such as Paulo Rebelo and Psychoff.

In this article we are going to take a look at the best football prediction sites for betting.

How useful are these sites when looking to make money from betting/trading on football?

Best football prediction sites

Best Football Prediction Sites For Betting

There are thousands of football prediction sites available on the internet.

However the vast majority are tipping websites that offer very little value. They give out predictions with very little analysis and are generally a poor resource if you are looking to find an edge.

So what are the best football prediction sites for betting?

In the above video.

Professional Betfair trader Caan Berry recommends infogol as a useful resource if you are attempting to make money from the football betting markets.

Seems like a good place to start, let’s take a look at what Infogol has to offer.

Best Football Prediction Sites – Pre Match Betting

Infogol

What makes Infogol stand out above the hundreds of other football betting prediction sites?

First off is the amount of data that is available on Infogol, it isn’t just the standard “we pick team A to win, bet here with Bet365” which you get with the majority of sites.

Best Football Prediction Sites

On Infogol there is quite a lot of data to dig into.

For instance you can look how teams are performing using the XG (expected goals) metric. There is also an expected league position ranking based around XG.

Both of these metrics can be used to give an indication if a team maybe under or over performing.

This is useful to know as there maybe some bias in the betting markets which could be exploited.

Infogol also have their own pre match model which uses expected goals alongside other metrics to assess how likely it is that a team will win.

Best Football Prediction Sites Infogol

You can also find all the usual data such as head to head stats, winning streaks, losing streaks etc.

However what sets Infogol’s pre match statistics, data and predictions apart from the majority. Is the expected goal models and depth of data that is available.

Blogabet

Another site that I use for finding useful information on pre match betting predictions is Blogabet.

It isn’t a statistical prediction site like Infogol.

Blogabet relies on its users to provide predictions. It is a tipster platform that is very popular and allows people to write up their analysis and make betting predictions.

Often you can get really good information on team news and specialists in the some of the smaller niche betting markets.

What I like about Blogabet is that there are a number of really good free betting tipsters. That often give out information that has not been fully accounted for yet in the betting markets.

Blogabet

This is the type of betting analysis I like to look at with Blogabet.

A site like infogol can give you a indication of when a team looks to have an advantage using statistical analysis. Whilst a site like blogabet can reveal information that might not be commonly known.

Combining the information from both is good way to find value in the betting markets.

Blogabet Tipster

Here is an example of the type of tipster I like to follow.

They have a 5% yield over 1683 bets which is a good sample size. This tipster does very well in the South American leagues being profitable in the Bolivian, Argentinian, Costa Rician and Ecuadorian leagues.

Blogabet allows you to take an in depth look at a tipsters record. Allowing you to see which leagues they are profitable in.

Which bookmakers they use and which bookmakers they are profitable with.

Oddsmath

For pre match betting Infogol and Blogabet are both excellent resources that I think are very valuable. An added resource that I like to use to track odds movement is Oddsmath.

The reason I like Oddsmath is that it gives me a visual representation of how odds have moved for various markets.

I find this useful as if I get some information on team news that maybe valuable. Using Oddsmath I can see if the market has reacted to this already.

Oddsmath use

Timestamps on the movement of odds allow me to see when the odds started to move.

Whilst Oddsmath isn’t a predictions site it is an excellent resource that combined with Infogol or blogabet may give you an edge.

Combining all three resources could allow you to find a profitable betting strategy.

For example if Infogol’s model is showing there is value available at current odds. You can use this alongside a site like oddsmath.com . To see if that team are shortening in odds ( an indication they may be value.)

Along with checking team news and looking at blogabet.com to see if  there are any profitable tipsters that like the same selection or have additional information on the game.

Best Football Prediction Sites – In Play Betting

When it comes to finding a prediction site that could aid you with in-play betting.

There are a number of sites that track statistics such as number of shots, shots on target, corners, free kicks and possession.

Flashscore is a good example of a site that does the above and also notifies you of when a goal is scored.

The majority of betting sites such as Bet365, William Hill etc also provide this type of in-play analysis.

For in-play statistics again its Infogol that stands out.

They provide in-play goal maps which provides you with the time of the chance created, player name and the probability of a goal being scored. This gives a lot of added depth over the standard shots on/off target count that the majority of sites offer.

Infogol in-play stats

Infogol still provide the standard type of statistics that you see from the majority of other in-play statistics providers. However again infogol add a little more depth with the addition of blocked shots, goalkeeper saves, completed passes and total passes.

When it comes to the best football prediction site for in-play betting infogol stands out.

Making money from the football betting markets isn’t easy. If you are aiming find profitable football bets/trades then you are going to want to use some of the best resources available to you.

Have any other football prediction sites that are worth a mention?

Let me know in the comment section below.

Making A Million From Sports Betting And Trading – December 2020 Results

Making A Million

2020 is done and dusted.

Been a very strange year with majority of people I imagine looking forward to 2021 and a return to some form of normality.

In betting terms it was a weird one also.

Pretty much all sport came to a halt and the Belarus league became the focus of some.

The UFC was one of the front runners in having sports return and then gradually the sporting calendar started to fill up.

Let’s take a look at results from the last month of 2020.

Value Betting, Matched Betting And Arbitrage

It was a poor month overall here.

Didn’t do a whole lot of arbitrage and matched betting is resigned to 2ups with Bet365 and the odd in-play offer they run.

On the value betting front it was frustrating, there were plenty of near wins that just fell short. Boosted accas losing on the last leg, big value BTTS bets not coming in and just generally felt like things weren’t going my way this month.

This month a total of 450 bets were made in December.

Oddly I made exactly the same number of bets as November although the outcomes were different.

A total loss of -£509 was made.

Advantage Play – Casino Offers

Had a good run on casino offers to end the year.

December used to be a great time for exploiting casino offers. You used to have multiple bookmakers running calendars and offering plus EV offers daily. It was pretty slim this year compared to previous but there was still enough to make a decent profit.

Added a video of the biggest win of the month, which was on the Big Bad Wolf slot.

I know some people like to watch these, plus I think it adds some transparency to the blog.

This month I took part in 139 offers.

A profit of £962 was made.

Sports Betting Results

It was a really strong month to end 2020 for own personal bets.

I made a total of 24 bets.

A total profit of £490 was made.

Some of the bets made in December

Looking at the stats over the whole year I made £922 profit after 188 bets.

My ROI was 5%.

Looking at individual sports, I would have had a much better year just sticking to MMA.

No sport equals betting in-play on both MMA and football.

The Basketball Geek Results

It was another good month for the Basketball Geek after a profitable November.

I have a slight concern that in the last week or two. Odds seem to be dropping much quicker the previously meaning more missed bets.

However I can’t complain too much as results this month were very good.

After 66 bets.

A total profit of £592 was made.

Basketball Geek Review

Free Tipster Experiment

In December I started something that I had been thinking about for while.

Finding the best free betting tips that I could. Aiming to win a set amount per bet (in this case £50) and seeing if it would be successful.

I took tips for a number of sources.

Some free tipsters on Blogabet, free tipsters from the smart betting club. The best bets from the Matchbook podcast and also from the Trademate sports football betting podcast.

Along with a few other sources.

Early days yet with this and a slight profit has been made.

In theory this should work long term, the majority of sources I am using have a verified history of being profitable. Others such as from the Matchbook and Trademate podcast have very sound logic behind them.

Time will ultimately tell if this will be profitable.

186 bets were made in December

£78 profit was made.

Trading

December was good month for trading.

It was mixture of my own and following the advice of a few other people.

My biggest win was on the Lazio vs Napoli game.

I watched this game in-play and just thought the odds seemed very wrong.

Also I started following someone on twitter who knows his Italian football and he had also pointed out that the Lazio odds seemed way too big pre match.

I had added his twitter link here if you wish to follow him.

In total a profit of £650 was made from trading.

Thoughts Going Forward

Heading into 2021 I feel pretty optimistic about things.

At times in 2020 I felt jaded with sports betting/casino offers/trading and considered doing something else with my time. Someone wrote on twitter a few days ago that successful betting can be very boring.

In truth some of it is very monotonous, however there is still a lot of opportunity to make money from it. Having not really taken advantage of matched betting fully when I discovered it around 2010.

I don’t want to be looking back 10 years from now saying the same thing.

Betmarkets is a product that I am really enjoying using. Although my first month with the platform has not been profitable. The tipsters that they have on board have long term winning records and beat the closing line. I look forward to seeing where I am in a year.

I will put out a video next week with more detail on how Betmarkets works and my approach. Looking to update it reguarly on youtube.

Click Here To Learn More About Betmarkets

In terms of my own goals for next year.

Obviously I would like to have another profitable year from betting. I said the same last year but I would also like to be a bit more active with Youtube and also this website.

As I mentioned earlier betting can be monotonous and having other projects to look at can help make things a bit more interesting.

Rebelbetting Review 2021 – Best Arbitrage Software?

Rebelbetting review 2021 – is Rebelbetting still profitable?

Previously I have written about three betting systems that will make money from the sports betting markets in the long run.

There is Matched Betting, Value Betting and Arbitrage.

Rebelbetting Review

Rebelbetting is a piece of software which focuses on sports betting arbitrage.

Rebelbetting Review

What Is Rebelbetting?

Rebelbetting was established in 2008. It has been one of the most popular arbitrage software providers since its inception. The company is based in Sweden and has been used by over 100,000 customers.

Rebelbetting Review

The software currently supports 76 bookmakers. It highlights arbitrage opportunities in tennis, football, basketball, American football, hockey, rugby, Aussie rules, baseball and horse racing.

What Is An Arbitrage Bet?

Your first question might be what the hell is an arbitrage bet?

An arbitrage bet is when you cover all outcomes of an event. Which then guarantees you a profit at the end of it.

Lets take a look at an example.

Rebelbetting flagged up an arbitrage opportunity. On the Leopardstown race at 17.05. A horse called Daliyah was priced at 3.25 on Paddypower.

Rebelbetting Review

This horse was available to lay on the betting exchanges at an 2.88. I took the available money at Smarkets. Which was just less then £50.

In standard arbitrage a profit is made on all outcomes. In this situation an 11.3% profit could be made backing at 3.25 and laying at 2.88.

Rebelbetting Review

You can see from the above. That rather then hedge the profit on all outcomes. I have weighted the profit on the horse Daliyah winning. This is a personal preference of mine. I could have also guaranteed myself a profit across all outcomes.

Having all profit on one outcome of the arbitrage bet is known as value arbing.

Lets look at what happens should Daliyah win the race.

  • I Win £112.5 from my £50 back bet at 3.25 with Paddypower
  • I lose £92.30 from my lay bet of £49.29
  • A total profit of £20.2 is made (£112.5-£92.30)

If Daliyah should lose the race.

  • I lose my £50 back bet with Paddypower
  • My lay bet wins for a total of £ £48.31 (£49.29 – 2% commission)
  • A loss of £1.69 is made

From this example you can see that the odds are stacked heavily in your favour. Using arbitrage but leaving the value of the side of the soft bookmaker. Basically creating a very high value bet in this situation.

How does Rebelbetting work?

Rebelbetting is very easy to use. The software constantly scans the odds on all the bookmakers it supports. When the software calculates an arbitrage opportunity. It highlights it for you so that you can investigate further.

Rebelbetting Review

Once you select an arb.

Rebelbetting will then automatically calculate a few other variables for you. You can see from the above picture that there is an arbitrage bet between Paddypower and Matchbook.

This is on the PSG vs Toulouse match, in the Asian handicap market.

The software has highlighted a 2.8% arbitrage bet.

From a stake of £492 it shows a profit of £13.81 or £13.78 could be made. You can adjust the stake figure to whatever figure you are using.

Also the round option lets you round of your bet sizes. This is so that soft bookmakers are less likely to flag you as an arbitrage bettor.

Is Rebelbetting Easy To Use?

Rebelbetting is highly customizable and very easy to use. It has a lot features that allow you to find and bet on arbitrage opportunities as efficiently as possible.

Initially you select which bookmakers you want arbitrage opportunities highlighted for.

Define the minimum and maximum arbitrage percentage you are looking for. Which sports you want included and the length of time before it starts.

One cool feature is that you can set up specific alert sounds for different arbitrage percentages or middle bets.

Rebelbetting Review

A feature that allows you to save a lot of time and process your bets as quick as possible.

Is the in built browser, which automatically brings up the bookmakers where the arbitrage is available. You can save your username and password so that Rebelbetting automatically signs in to your account when you use this feature.

How Much Money Can I Make with Rebelbetting?

Given that Rebelbetting covers 76 bookmakers there are a tonne of arbitrage opportunities.

When I made all bookmakers available there were a total of 417 arbitrage bets available. There is obviously a good opportunity to profit from these.

However it is unlikely that you will have access to all of these 76 bookmakers. Some of the bookmakers may be restricted due to your location. You can trial Rebelbetting for free and see how many you have access to.

In terms of how much money you can make from arbitrage its going to differ from person to person. If you have access to a large number bookmaker accounts then its possible to make thousands of pounds from arbitrage betting.

Personally I have made hundreds from arbitrage in the past. But I will admit that arbitrage isn’t my primary focus and is something I usually do once my accounts are promotion banned. I then like to go through these accounts over a few weeks and hammer them with arbitrage bets.

A lot of matched bettors often discard accounts once the promotions stop. However arbitrage is a great way of milking them for every last ounce of a profit. Also some bookmaker accounts don’t offer much in the use of promotions. Again arbitrage is a good way to get use from these accounts.

Rebelbetting Review Results

Here are the results during my trial of Rebelbetting.

The bets were placed over the period of a month.

I placed 127 arbitrage bets.

Total amount staked £23,241
Average Stake per bet£183
Total Profit Of Made£762
Return Of Investment3.28%

Will Bookmakers Limit My Account If I Use Rebelbetting?

Like with all winning sports betting strategies. If you are taking money from the pockets of soft bookmakers then you will find yourself limited.

Using the software I did find arbitrage bets between sharp bookmakers and betting exchanges. These types of arbitrage bets are often smaller neither sharp bookmakers or betting exchanges will limit you.

Sports arbitrage betting is a great way to make money from the sports betting markets and I don’t believe you should let bookmaker limitations put you off trying arbitrage software such as Rebelbetting.

How Much Does A Rebelbetting Subscription Cost?

There are several different pricing plans for Rebelbetting. The best plan would really depend on several different factors.

What is your bankroll?

How many bookmakers do you available?

How much time do you have to commit to arbitrage betting?

Rebelbetting Free Trial

There is free trial version of Rebelbetting available.

Which enables you to test the software out for free with a cap on arbitrage bets up to 1%.

This will allow you to become familiar with the software. And see whether you would get value out of using the Rebelbetting service.

Rebelbetting Review Conclusion

Rebelbetting is a very professional product aimed at people that want to take their arbitrage betting to the next level.

It is easy to use, fast and a very efficient way of finding sports arbitrage bets.

I highly recommend Rebelbetting.

The service isn’t cheap but if you are interested in investing in sports arbitrage then you can’t go far wrong with Rebelbetting.

Make Money Sports Betting And Trading – 7 Methods For Finding An Edge

You need an edge in the sports betting markets to make money.

Finding An Edge – Sports Betting And Betfair Trading

First off what is an edge in sports betting and trading?

An edge is the reason that you make money from sports betting.

A simple example of an edge that is well documented and used by many is matched betting and arbitrage. Matched betting involves using bookmaker promotions to make frequent profits. Arbitrage capitalizes on bookmakers being slow to move their odds allowing profit to be made on all outcomes.

However the trouble with these edges is that it isn’t easily scalable and it relies on soft bookmakers. Who eventually won’t want your business and limit you to pennies.

That leaves a lot of people searching for an edge that is sustainable over the long term.  An edge that offers more scalability and the potential for larger profit.

Finding An Edge - Sports Betting And Betfair TradingBut what processes can you use to find an edge?

Lets have look at some potential ways to find an edge in both sports betting and sports trading.

Past Data

One way of looking at finding an edge is to analyse past data. This may reveal profitable trends that potentially still exist in the current markets. Which then can lead to a profitable betting strategy.

Two big advocates of this type of analysis are Cassini. The man behind the sports betting blog green all over, who frequently puts up betting systems based on past profitable trends.

Finding An Edge - Sports Betting And Betfair Trading

Jon Roberts the man behind the software Predictology. Is also a fan of using past data to look at building profitable betting strategies for the current betting markets.

Is there a downside to using past data?

Well just because something has happened in the past doesn’t guarantee it is going to happen in the future.

However it is certainly a good indicator to use and might highlight some area’s that could be exploitable.

Modelling

If you have an interest in sports betting. Then you will have probably come across a few mathematical models that people use to try and find value in the betting markets.

For those that are mathematically minded. Developing a sports betting model might be the answer to developing an edge.

It is thought that many of the largest betting syndicates in the world use mathematical modelling for sports betting.

One such syndicate was the legendary brain trust headed by Billy Walters.

Lets take a look at a few models which have been used to try and find value in sports betting.

Elo Ratings

The idea of Elo ratings is that each team has a rating. Stronger sides will be given a higher rating compared to weaker sides. For example Manchester United would be given a higher rating then Brighton.

Elo ratings are constantly changing, they are calculated based upon the results of matches. When two sides play, the winner of a match will gain a certain number of points in their rating. The losing team loses the same amount.

The number of points won or lost in a match will depend on the difference in the Elo ratings of the teams. By beating stronger teams a side will increase there points by more then by beating a weaker side.

Applying Elo Ratings To Sports Betting

Finding An Edge - Sports Betting And Betfair Trading

Poisson Distribution

Poisson distribution is a mathematical concept. Used for translating mean averages into a probability for variable outcomes across a distribution.

This is used in football betting for example to calculate on average how likely a team are to score a certain number of goals.

Here are some good articles on Poisson distribution in betting.

Poisson Distribution: Predict the score in soccer betting

Football Prediction Model: Poisson Distribution

Expected Goals

In football the expected goals model has risen in popularity lately. Being used quite often in post match analysis by television pundits.

Expected goals is a metric which assesses every chance, it is a way of assigning a value to every attempt at scoring a goal. Each attempt is given a value based based on the expectancy of how likely it is to be scored.

For example an effort from less than six yards out in front of goal was given a rating of  0.91xG. It was such a good chance it should be scored 91% of the time.

Using an expected goals model could indicate how “lucky” or “unlucky” a teams results have been. Which could indicate value on teams that may have been performing well on expected goals but not getting the results.

An analysis of expected goals models

Live Pictures

They say a picture paints a thousand words. Often live pictures can tell you much more about a game then the in play stats.

We live in an age where there are free streams of football games all around the world. On a given day you can watch the Japanese league in the morning, the Romanian league in the afternoon and finish off with La Liga at night.

There are quite a few football traders for example that swear by trading only with live pictures.

Finding An Edge - Sports Betting And Betfair Trading

Psychoff may be one of the best known football traders in the world. He has stated on his twitter account that he makes his goal alert trading decisions based on watching live games. Surprisingly also stating that he doesn’t use statistics for these trades.

With live pictures you can pick up on adjustments in tactics. In football games you can read the tempo and flow of a game. See the weather conditions, body language of players. Having live pictures can often give you a lot of extra information when deciding to make a bet.

Combined with knowledge of the sports and teams. Live pictures might be enough to give you a profitable edge in the markets.

Beating The Closing Odds

In sports betting. If you can consistently beat the closing odds at sharp bookmakers. Then its likely that you are consistently finding value.

Major sports betting markets are pretty efficient. There has been quite a few studies which have shown this using Pinnacle’s closing odds as an example.

Because they are so efficient if you are able to constantly beat the closing odds (after the inclusion of vig). Then you will most likely have found yourself a profitable betting system.

In fact the profitable sports betting tool Trademate is based on this very concept.

Finding An Edge - Sports Betting And Betfair Trading

Trademate scans for odds across a high number of bookmakers. When it finds odds that are higher then those at the sharp bookmakers it advises a bet.

This is also known as value betting.

It is perhaps one of the simplest ways of finding value in the sports betting markets.

If you are looking for high turnover and a proven method of making money. Value betting is probably one of the easiest ways to do this.

The drawback to this style of betting is that it again relies on soft bookmakers.

Experiencing The Markets

This could probably be classed as using past data.

However specifically relating to Betfair trading I think it deserves its own section.

Experiencing the markets over and over can really help you see potential opportunities for profit.

I will use football as an example as this is the sport I trade the most.

A lot of my own pre match trading strategies were created by watching lots of market movements. Noting odds days in advance for games. Tracking what the odds were leading up to game day and eventually noting the closing odds.

If you do this you start to see patterns and understand what moves a market pre match.

Finding An Edge - Sports Betting And Betfair TradingTeam news is always going to have a big effect on the market. But by watching markets I also learnt that performances mid week for teams playing in Europe will effect prices for games at the weekend.

If there is a question mark on whether a key player is likely to start, early odds movement can often be a good indication on how likely they are to play or not. As people with this information already will get their bets on before its public knowledge.

Caan Berry has also stated that he records all the horse racing markets he trades. So that he can experience these markets again and build better judgments for future markets. Allowing him to react quicker if future markets trade in a similar way to one he has already experienced.

In Depth Knowledge

As noted earlier in this article. The markets with the most amount of money traded are usually the most efficient.

However odds makers don’t put a huge amount of attention on some of the sports/events that don’t attract the big money.

For example the odds in the Portuguese second division are not going to be as efficient as the Champions league. So for a hardcore fan of the Portuguese second division, value might be easy to spot at first glance.

In lesser known sports/leagues an in depth knowledge may be enough to give you a profitable edge.

Contrarian Betting

The sport of mixed martial arts is still fairly young. Betting on the UFC is growing and odds makers are getting better at pricing up fights.

However if you have an in depth knowledge of the sport then there is great value to be found.

Given that you don’t see fighters week in week out. Along with the promotion of UFC being akin to pro wrestling with a narrative often being written. Occassionally you see some lop sided odds as the betting public often follow the narrative being portrayed.

Finding An Edge - Sports Betting And Betfair Trading

The best example of this is when Ronda Rousey fought Amanda Nunes.

Rousey was coming back after a year layoff on the back of vicious head kick loss. In a fight where she showed serious flaws in her fighting style.

Nunes was the new champion who had shown to be well rounded and was running through top level competition. On top of that she had shown she was an elite level striker, striking was Rousey’s biggest weakness.

All the media and promotion of the fight was behind Rousey comeback and somehow Nunes was odds of 2.8 as the defending champion come fight night.

The odds were way out of line due to the media being behind only one fighter.

Whenever the media are heavily behind one team/athlete. It is always worth looking at it from a contrarian point of view.

Summary

So we have looked at multiple approaches in finding an edge in the sports betting markets.

Depending on your personality and your own skill set some maybe more viable then others

Often a combination of the methods above will be used to find value.

Finding a long term edge in the Betfair trading or sports betting isn’t easy. But for those that do find them the rewards can be huge.

Making A Million From Sports Betting And Trading – November 2020 Results

Making A Million

This month I crept over the 100k in total profit since the challenge began.

The moment I went over 100k profit fireworks went off, a marching band came into my office and Tony Bloom arrived in my back garden. Got out of his helicopter and gave me the double thumbs up through the window before flying away.

Well none of that happened but it was pretty cool to get over that milestone.

It’s taken me a total of 44 months to get over that mark.

So if I keep going at this rate it’s only going to take another me 396 months or 33 years to hit the goal of making a million.

Let’s take a look at where the profit and losses came from in November.

Value Betting And Arbitrage

Not a whole lot to say about the value betting and arbitrage side of things.

The amount of volume was decent this month. I hit a rare 2up win at the end of month which is always a bonus.

Didn’t do a whole lot of arbitrage betting, got whatever I could on a few limited accounts and found a casino with a sportsbook which seems to offer regular arbitrage opportunities. Will see how long it lasts.

November results

This month a total of 450 bets were made in November.

A total profit of £789 was made.

Advantage Play – Casino Offers

After crushing casino offers last months the casino gods decided to put the brakes on things this month.

At the end of the month I seemed to be losing every hand of blackjack and slots just weren’t paying out.

Not much you can do when this happens, just have to trust in the process and keep putting in volume.

This month I took part in 159 offers.

A loss of -£484 was made.

Sports Betting Results

It was a winning month for my own personal betting.

Although I did get dragged back into betting on football which is something I told myself I wouldn’t do.

However a positive was that it wasn’t pre match(where I know I don’t have an edge) it was all in-play. I have tracked my in-play football but its also combined with in-play MMA using bettin.gs.

It is tracked under the no sport category.

So although I haven’t broke it down in-play betting into individual sports, I don’t bet MMA in-play as much as I would like to due to the time its on in the UK. So betting on in-play on football seems to be holding its own.

Got a lot of time off this month so it’s something I can go through and break down properly.

Overall I made 24 bets in November.

A profit of £346 was made.

The Basketball Geek Results

This was my second month following the Baskeball Geek.

My staking strategy was staking to win around £40 (rounding up stakes) as the odds can be anywhere from 1.8 to 20.00.

A huge £2 profit was made last month.

This month the service performed better.

After 85 bets.

A total profit of £261 was made.

Happy with these results, I did find that I was using a Bet365 account for a lot of selections which might not be good for longevity. However there were still selections that can be taken on Pinnacle and odds don’t immediately plummet like other profitable services.

Going to continue with the service for the foreseeable future.

Trading

A much better month for trading in November compared to the last few.

Did some pre fight and in-play trading on both boxing and MMA this month which paid off.

Also made money following the football advice from the free FTS group along with some of my won pre match trades. When everything else was losing at the end of the month this helped to maintain some of the profit.

A total profit of £1023 was made from trading this month.

Thoughts Going Forward

After a really good month in October, November returned to what amounts to a fairly average month.

It was good to get over the 100k total profit mark as this was a minimum target I set at the beginning of the year.

This month I also started with automated betting this is something that I wrote about months, I finally found a platform I was happy with.

I invested £500 into betmarkets. Which is being marketed as the “etoro of betting” it is a platform that allows you to follow tipsters.

You set up a bankroll for each tipster, set your staking level and then it’s all automated.

I am naturally pretty wary of products like this but having done a decent amount of research and seen the tipsters that they are working with. For example Nishikori the tennis tipster from Pyckio, Neil Macdonald from Bookie Insiders and several guys proofed by the Smart Betting Club.

They are all reputable and having spoken to the people behind Betmarkets the whole premise of the platform makes sense to me.

Had a few weeks on the platform now and really impressed with it all. Planning to invest some more this month and get a proper portfolio set up.

I will do a more depth review in a month or two once I have had more time on the platform.

You can visit Betmarkets here

Making A Million From Sports Betting And Trading – October 2020 Results

Making A Million

At the beginning of the year I gave myself a minimum target to get over the £100,000 in total profit.

I don’t like to make short term targets but it seemed that this would be very doable and I just wanted some kind of monetary goal for this year.

Then in March obviously the pandemic hit and things didn’t look too promising.

Well October has gone about as well as it possibly could and it does look like that overall profit target will be reached this year.

Let’s take a look at where the profit came from in October.

Sports Betting and Trading Challenge

Value Betting And Arbitrage (Matched Betting)

It was sad to see the Betsafe/Betsson group leave the UK market this month. Had been finding a lot of value betting and arbitrage opportunities with them recently. They also seemed happy to take my money and I was able to get down decent amounts down.

However for whatever reason they left the UK market this month. I had a fair bit of money left in my accounts and thought It was most likely going to be a pain to get that money back.

Like I said earlier, this month went about as well as it could have. It only took a few days to get the money back in my account. Also the BML group paid out unsettled bets as winners. So I received just under £500 in unexpected profit from them.

So overall that’s pretty much the best case scenario when a bookmaker decides to close.

The majority of my value bets placed were using Trademate and Oddsmonkey. My results also include using money back on 2nd place with Will Hill and any value to be found from extra place offers.

This month a total of 354 bets were made in October.

A total profit of £1672 was made.

The casino gods were really kind this month.

I visited my local witchdoctor this month and he told me to sacrifice 3 goats and a pig on day when the moon was full. That seemed to appease the gods this month and they rewarded me handily.

(Just to be clear the above is a joke, Rest assured that no animals have ever or will ever be harmed as a result of me trying to make money exploiting casino offers. Nor do I mean any offence to any practicing witch doctors. It is a noble profession and one I respect)

Casino Offer Results

You can see from the graph above that the majority of October’s profit was from two big wins.

One of those wins I recorded as it happened on a bonus round, the other win was less expected.

People seem to enjoy these videos and it also helps to add some transparency to my results. If you want to view the biggest win of the month, the video is below.

This was on the slot Gonzo’s Quest slot. It was with a casino called Genesis casino that have a reputation of being difficult. However they recently had their UK licence reinstated and they paid me out in full within a few days.

During October I did 203 offers.

A profit of £3001 was made.

Sports Betting Results

October was a solid month in terms of sports betting.

I avoided (for the most part) betting on football and stuck with betting on MMA.

The one football bet I did make was Atalanta to beat Midtjylland in the Champions League at 1.69. A lot of people that I respect the opinion of, had this as value so I was pretty happy to take it.

My biggest winning bet for the month was a £200 stake on Brian Ortega at odds of 2.7.

Sports Betting Results

Overall I made 22 bets in October.

A profit of £750 was made.

The Basketball Geek Results

After tracking results of this service for a few months and being impressed with it.

I have added it to my overall betting strategy/portfolio whatever you prefer to call it.

For this strategy I used a variable staking strategy looking to win £40. Although I do round off my stakes so its not exactly £40 every time.

Basketball Geek

After 93 bets I ended up pretty much where I started.

A total profit of £2 was made.

Not much to report here. It wasn’t a disaster by any means just a month where things didn’t get going.

Previous results with this service have been very promising and I do think long term following the service will be profitable.

Hopefully we will get some momentum going next month.

Trading

This month I made £216 from trading.

The majority of the profit came from this trade.

Laying Dynamo Kiev when they were leading 2-0 away at Ferencvaros. The game ended up finishing 2-2.

I have wrote about this previously but trading is something I have been doing a lot less off.

For a long time I was content to spend long hours in front of the computer however this year I have put a lot more focus on exercising regularly. Making sure I spend a lot of time with my kids and generally just leading a more balanced life style.

So my time trading is pretty minimal and I often just get involved when I see something that looks like obvious value (in my estimation).

Thoughts Going Forward

So obviously it was really good month where I was very fortunate.

If you do stick with casino offers then you will run into these months every now and again. It is just a case of putting in the volume and going through the bad periods.

I often get emails asking if casino offers are still worth doing.

In my opinion yes they are, just get started. As we have seen with the matched betting/poker/arbitrage boom, these opportunities don’t last forever and usually diminish with time.

Going forward I don’t really plan on doing a huge amount more then what I am already. I have added one tipster and will look to add more in the future but currently happy with the workload and profit.

In the next week I do plan on making a video on youtube as its been neglected for a little while.

If that interests you, you can subscribe here https://youtube.com/c/SmartSportsTrader

Planning to go through this year’s results and talk about where I think the best opportunities are going forward in the sports betting markets.

If you have any questions or anything you would like me to discuss.

You can add it in the comments or send me an email at [email protected]

Making A Million From Sports Betting And Trading – September Results

Making A Million

After a really good set of results in August.

I was looking to build on this in September and try to get over £100,000 in total profit before the end of 2020.

Let’s take a look at September’s results.

Sports Betting and Trading Challenge

Value Betting And Arbitrage (Matched Betting)

In terms of matched betting offers there is not a lot going on at the moment. Betfair exchange throw out a fiver a week and if you are not limited from Bet365 they still have the occasional decent offer.

The majority of my betting volume is in the form of value betting.

This is betting boosts, accumulator promos, extra places, single bets.

I am still betting at the exchanges where 0% throws up opportunities and also been looking at the Asian bookies and finding value.

(I have been using the Trademate Sports software this month. To gather results for an updated review of the software. This has contributed to the profits this month. It should be noted that I am running well above EV for this month and an 18% roi is not to be expected long term.)

Trademate Sports

When it comes to arbitrage I am hammering my limited accounts. Also I do find opportunities for in-play arbitrage and some small arbs between sharp bookmakers and betting exchanges.

A lot of people think that arbitrage betting is dead in 2020, however this isn’t true there is still money to be made.

Value Betting September

I made a total of 481 bets in August.

A total profit of £2106 was made.

On to the casino offers and all in all, this month was pretty average.

Mecca Bingo seem to be throwing out more offers then usual which is always good to see. Cashino were the latest to leave the UK market however won’t really miss them. As their reload offers tended to pretty poor.

Here is an epic bonus I had on Rainbow Riches Cluster Magic.

Haha exciting stuff right?

That’s pretty much advantage play in a nutshell. The majority of the time its very boring and then now and again you pick up a big win which makes it all worthwhile.

This month there were a few medium sized wins but nothing of note.

Casino Offer Results

During September I did exactly 150 offers.

A profit of £694 was made.

Sports Betting Results

My own betting was poor this month.

It is the same pattern that rears its head again and again, make money from MMA and lose it betting pre match football.

Below are my long term stats over the last 3 years.

(No sport equals live bets in both football and MMA)

Betting Results

I have written previously that I should stop betting football pre match. Whilst I still had a very small positive long term roi up until this month. It’s been steadily decreasing for a while.

I don’t give football enough attention to warrant betting it and should have cut it out completely a while ago.

It’s a tough market to beat in general and to think I can just profit from it with a very brief analysis is pretty stupid on my part.

Time to knock these bets pre match football bets on the head finally.

This month I made 14 bets.

A total loss of -£555 was made.

Trading

Trading has been ok this month with no real standout trades.

When I see something obvious in the market, I will open up a position. It doesn’t always go to plan but over the long term its been profitable.

Horse Racing Trade

Unfortunately with work, family life, value betting, casino offers etc.

I don’t have a lot of time to trade.

This month I have spent time looking at automation and bot services.

If anyone has any feedback on Mercurious or Exponential bet I would love to here from you either via email or in the comments.

In total I made £102 from trading this month.

Thoughts Going Forward

A solid month where a profit decent was made.

There is a part of me that is pretty content with just carrying on with what I am doing and making between £1k-£4k a month. But there is another part of me that wants to push on and see if I can make much more.

However to do that would mean increasing stakes and taking on more risk.

When it comes to matched betting, arbitrage and casino offers, I can’t really scale these much more.

If I want to up my staking levels. I have to look at value betting, my own personal betting and adding services which make money from the exchanges or sharp bookmakers.

Which would mean taking on more risk and variance. Probably meaning that I would endure more losing months and larger swings in my profit and loss.

Something that I need make a definitive decision on………….

At the end of this month I did start following a tipster called the Basketball Geek. Having followed this tipster for a few months for review purposes (Which I will write up in the next few days). I am confident that he is profitable long term.

Although I have issues with the way they record odds and the quoted odds they use for his results are not obtainable. He is a good tipster that beats the closing odds regularly and can be be followed using Asian bookmakers (not all selections however.)

Making A Million From Sports Betting And Trading – August Results

Matched Betting results

August was the month I had been waiting for.

Everything seemed to go right, I was on the right side of variance for casino offers and my own trading/betting went well.

At times this year I had questioned whether I should look at putting my time into other things.

This month though validated that if you have profitable methods and solid staking. Then so long as you put in the volume, the results will come eventually.

Sports Betting and Trading Challenge

Matched Betting – Sports Offers, Arbitrage, Value Betting

I did my usual matched betting, arbing and value betting with soft books and continued betting in the Asian markets.

Betting in the Asian markets has gone well the only annoying part is actually funding the account. This is due to fees using an ewallet and then fee’s that the broker I use has added to depositing and withdrawing.

However given there is no commission on bets, very tight margins and often superior odds then Betfair (after commission.)

It is still worth while, it just means that I have to avoid moving money in and out of the account to often.

I will look at putting up a review of the broker that I use soon.

As I know betting in the Asian markets is something a lot of people are interested in. But much like myself have been or are still wary of using brokers.

Matched Betting results

I made a total of 377 bets in August.

A total profit of £1049 was made.

Advantage Play – Casino Offers

I had an interesting email this month. From someone that had lost money doing casino offers. They wrote that I fabricate my casino results and I actually work for bookmakers and casinos. Apparently all of the strategies are bulls*** and you will lose money doing any of them.

So yeah obviously that’s not true (no bookmaker affiliate is advising matched betting or arbitrage for example) and I think that most people that read this blog understand variance and advantage gambling in general.

But because of that exchange I have thought it wouldn’t hurt to add some more screenshots of doing offers this month and a video.

Just to show that I am actively doing casino offers and although you can lose money short term. In the long term there is still a massive edge doing these.

The video below is where I hit 20 free spins with a 10x multiplier doing £2 spins on Halloween Fortune.

I was pretty excited when this hit and thought that it could have lead to one of my biggest casino wins ever. If the casino gods decided to favour me.

You can see the result below.

So despite the casino gods not handing out a mega win on Halloween Fortune. I still ran very well on casino offers this month and a decent profit was made overall.

Last month I lost over £1000 pounds doing casino offers, so it was a good feeling to have a month where it flipped the other way.

Casino Offer Results

In August I completed 157 offers.

A total profit of £2439 was made.

Sports betting went well this month.

The biggest individual bet that I had was on Marlon Vera to beat Sean O,Malley in a UFC bout.

Again fortune favoured me this month as O’Malley’s leg gave out early in the fight (Due to a leg kick) and he folded pretty quickly after that.

This month I made a total of 20 bets.

A profit of £810 was made.

Below are the majority of bets made in August.

Trading also went well this month.

Not a huge amount of volume but I did some pre event trading on the UFC this month. Alongside a little bit of pre match football trading.

I ended up hedging the above for a profit across all outcomes just before the fight.

A total of £126 was made from trading.

Thoughts Going Forward

August was a really good month overall in terms of profit made. I am always mulling over adding new tipsters or services and I am still tracking results for a few that look promising.

However at the moment and with my venture into the Asian betting markets. I am happy to keep doing what I’m doing and reassess things in a few months time.

This month I put out a new video on Youtube which you can view below.

Youtube is something that I have not really focused on, I made a few videos just out of interest really to see how they would do.

But despite not really doing that much with the channel, it has grown organically. So in the future, I want to be more consistent with content output. Put videos out on a weekly basis and see where it goes.

My plan would be to also branch out of just creating content related to the sports betting markets but also talk about creating other income sources (this blog for example.) Then using these revenue streams to work towards financial independence and earlier retirement.

If any of that interests you, you can subscribe to the channel in the link below.

Making A Million From Sports Betting And Trading – July Results

July was a frustrating month at times but also a productive one as I found a new edge in the sports betting markets.

We are now into August and looking at my results I am way under last years profits.

Last year after 6 months I had made a profit of £19,549.

In 2020 after 6 months my profit for the year stands at £7152.

I haven’t really done anything different from last year so the disparity in profits is probably a lot to do with variance.

Obviously the Corona virus has also been a factor. I do think however that I have not really grown as a sports bettor/trader with my trading in particular not being great this year.

Anyway enough rambling let’s take a look at the results and see if a decent profit was made in July?

Matched Betting – Sports Offers, Arbitrage, Value Betting

As I wrote earlier although at times this month was frustrating, I also found a decent edge in the markets.

This was in relation to arbitrage and value betting.

In July I spent lot of time betting with the Asian bookmakers and working out if I could find an edge in these markets which I did.

Also having access to Asian bookmakers opened up a lot more arbitrage bets which I took advantage of. I plan to write an article about how to bet with the Asian bookmakers and also will go into some of the value betting strategies that I found.

Value Betting Results

I made a total of 529 bets in July.

A total profit of £1473 was made.

The casino gods decided to flip the switch this month and for the most part it felt like I was just donating money.

On the last day of the month I managed to get a decent win to limit the damage.

However for the majority of the month it really did feel like I wasn’t allowed to win.

But if you are looking to make money from casino offers or sports betting for that matter. You have to accept that these losing runs are going to happen.

It’s beyond your control so there is no point in getting annoyed by it because its an inevitability that its going to happen.

In July I completed 142 offers.

A total loss -£1003 was made.

Misc

In this section I will include profit/loss from other methods that I don’t record in as much detail as the above. It gets added to my daily P/L but I don’t record them separately.

This included some trading that I do on the exchanges. Along with bets that I have made for tipster reviews. (I covered two of these tipsters here)

Once my children are back at school in September I do plan on spending much time sports trading. But at the moment my approach is a bit scattered.

This month I made £135 in profit.

Thoughts Going Forward

Another month where profit was made but way below last year’s average.

On one hand I’m a little disappointed by how things have gone this year. But on the other I have spent a tonne of time with my family and taken way more days off.

A big part of being happy in life is about balance.

Having two young kids at home 24/7 since April does mean I have spent way less time in front of the computer then I normally would.

However that’s time that I can easily get back when they are older and less likely to want to spent time playing “Tig” with the dad.

So ultimately even though at the end of the year I imagine profits are going to be much lower then last years total. It’s easy to become short sighted and think that this profit figure is more important then it actually is.

At the end of the day its only a number and nothing in my life will drastically change because of it.
