If you’ve spent any time around profitable sports betting strategies, you’ll already know that value betting and arbitrage betting are two of the few approaches that genuinely work long term.
The problem?
Finding value bets manually across hundreds of bookmakers is almost impossible.
That’s where Bet Hero comes in.
Smart Sports Trader has tested a huge range of betting software over the years, including platforms such as RebelBetting, OddsMonkey, Trademate and Pinnacle Odds Dropper. Bet Hero is one of the newer entrants into the market, but it brings some genuinely unique features that make it stand out.

In this review we’ll cover:
- How Bet Hero works
- The bookmakers and markets covered
- Live betting functionality
- Our real betting results
- The pros and cons
- Whether Bet Hero is actually worth the money

What Is Bet Hero?
Bet Hero is a sports betting software platform focused on:
- Value betting
- Arbitrage betting
- Closing line value (CLV)
- Bet tracking
- Live betting opportunities
The software scans odds across 230+ bookmakers globally to identify pricing mistakes and value opportunities.

Unlike many competing tools that focus primarily on major match odds markets, Bet Hero heavily covers:
- Player props
- Cards markets
- Corners
- Lower liquidity niche markets
- In-play betting markets
This wider market coverage is one of the biggest reasons Bet Hero stands out from many competitors.
Bet Hero Settings – How It Works
The setup process is extremely simple.
After signing up, you:
- Enter your bankroll
- Choose a staking strategy
- Select your preferred bookmakers
- Decide whether to focus on value betting, arbitrage betting, or both
The dashboard is straightforward and beginner-friendly, making it easy to start placing bets quickly.

Bookmakers Supported
Bet Hero currently supports over 230 bookmakers worldwide.
For UK users specifically, there are around 48 supported bookmakers including:
- Bet365
- Betfair
- SkyBet
- BetVictor
- Midnite
- Matchbook
- Unibet clones
- Bwin clones
- Dafabet clones
- Casumo clones
- Crypto sportsbooks
This wide coverage is important because the more bookmakers you have available, the more value betting opportunities you can access

Bet Hero Arbitrage Betting
One of Bet Hero’s main features is its arbitrage scanner.
For those unfamiliar with arbitrage betting:
Arbitrage occurs when bookmakers disagree strongly enough on prices that you can back all outcomes and guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
Bet Hero regularly highlights arbitrage opportunities across multiple sports and markets.
What impressed me most during testing was the percentage return on some of the opportunities found.

Most arbitrage software typically flags opportunities in the 1–5% ROI range.
Bet Hero occasionally identified opportunities exceeding 10%, particularly in niche prop markets where bookmakers are slower to react.
These types of opportunities obviously don’t appear constantly, but it shows the software is capable of finding significant market inefficiencies.
Bet Hero Value Betting
This is where Bet Hero becomes particularly interesting.
The platform compares odds from sharp bookmakers against softer bookmakers to identify bets where the odds are bigger than they should be.
This is the core principle behind professional value betting.
What separates Bet Hero from many competitors is the sheer number of markets it covers.
Most value betting software focuses mainly on:
- Match odds
- Totals
- Asian handicaps

Bet Hero goes much deeper.
It scans:
- Player props
- Corners
- Cards
- Lower league markets
- Smaller niche sports
These lower liquidity markets are often less efficient, which means bookmakers make more pricing mistakes.
In theory, this creates larger edges for bettors who can identify them quickly.
Live Value Betting
One of the biggest additions to Bet Hero recently is live betting functionality.
This is still relatively uncommon among value betting platforms.
Live betting offers several advantages:
- Bookmakers tend to limit accounts slower
- Markets move rapidly
- Large pricing mistakes appear more frequently
- Betting volume can increase significantly
For experienced bettors, this feature alone could make Bet Hero worth considering.

Bet Tracking & Closing Line Value
Bet Hero has also improved massively in terms of bet tracking.
The software now automatically tracks:
- Profit/loss
- Closing line value
- Stake sizing
- Bet history
- Results settlement
This is a huge time saver.
The CLV tracking is especially important because closing line value is one of the strongest indicators of whether a betting strategy is genuinely profitable long term.
If you consistently beat the closing line, you are usually making good bets regardless of short-term variance.
Bet Checker Tool
Another useful feature is the Bet Checker.
This tool allows you to manually enter any bet and compare it against the wider market instantly.
This is useful for:
- Verifying tipster selections
- Checking bookmaker boosts
- Evaluating your own bets
- Comparing odds against sharp books
It’s a simple addition, but one that adds a lot of practical value.
Discord Integration
Bet Hero also integrates directly with Discord.
Users can receive instant betting alerts via desktop or mobile notifications, which is especially useful for fast moving value opportunities.
The Discord community is also active, with users regularly sharing results, strategies and advice.

Final Verdict – Is Bet Hero Worth It?
Bet Hero has improved rapidly over the last year and is now one of the more interesting value betting platforms available.
Its biggest strength is undoubtedly the range of markets it covers. The focus on props, corners, cards and niche betting markets creates opportunities that many competing platforms simply miss.
The addition of live betting is also a major advantage.
While the interface still has room for improvement, the software itself is powerful and clearly built with serious bettors in mind.
If you are interested in:
- Value betting
- Arbitrage betting
- Beating bookmaker limits
- Finding niche market edges
…then Bet Hero is absolutely worth testing.
The £1 trial makes it very low risk to see whether the software suits your betting style.

Hi
As a long term value better I’m pretty limited to only a few bookmakers.
Does Bethero find any individual exchange bets?
I used Rebel betting before in the past, and did find with there exchange bets, you have to be so quick placing the bet, as the prices change so quickly.
Most of the main stream bookies in the uk i dont have anymore, So not sure if bethero would be beneficial to me.
Look forward to any reply
Thanks Dave
Hi David
There are some bets on the exchanges but liquidity is normally low for these selections.
They are very good for the Casumo group (they multiple clones Jackpot Joy etc), which is a group many people still have.
Couple of other smaller ones like Lottoland also. I would not advise it solely for the exchanges.
Big Thanks and as i thought
