Finding profitable betting strategies is one thing.
Finding out whether those strategies actually have an edge is another.
This is where Bet2Invest takes a slightly different approach to many of the betting platforms and tipster services I’ve reviewed.
Rather than simply giving you a list of betting tips, Bet2Invest focuses heavily on tracking performance, analysing market movements and using Pinnacle odds to verify results.
The platform allows you to follow tipsters, analyse their historical performance, monitor CLV (Closing Line Value) and, through its Strategy Builder, even create and backtest your own betting strategies using historical Pinnacle data.
So, is Bet2Invest worth using in 2026?
I’ve taken a closer look at what the platform offers to find out.
What Is Bet2Invest?
Bet2Invest is essentially a platform connecting sports bettors, tipsters and betting strategies.
The company isn’t a bookmaker. Instead, it provides tools designed to help bettors analyse betting strategies and identify potentially profitable approaches.
One of the main selling points is that Bet2Invest uses Pinnacle odds as its reference point.
This is important because Pinnacle is widely regarded as one of the sharper sportsbooks, and Bet2Invest says its tipster results are automatically calculated using real Pinnacle data.
That means tipsters can’t simply post a selection after the price has moved and claim they got the better odds.
The platform records the odds when the bet is posted and provides additional information about how those odds subsequently performed.
For anyone interested in value betting, this is particularly interesting.
How Does Bet2Invest Work?
There are several different ways you can use Bet2Invest.
Follow Tipsters
The simplest option is to use the platform to find and follow betting tipsters.
You can browse the available tipsters and look at their historical performance before deciding whether you want to follow them.
Rather than just looking at profit, Bet2Invest provides a range of statistics including:
- ROI/yield
- Profit
- Number of bets
- Odds
- CLV
- Market information
- Historical performance
This is useful because simply finding a tipster with a large profit isn’t necessarily enough.
A tipster might have made a large profit from a relatively small number of bets, for example.
Looking at a much larger sample and seeing whether they consistently beat the closing price can provide considerably more information.
The Importance of CLV
One of my favourite features of Bet2Invest is the focus on Closing Line Value (CLV).
I’ve talked about CLV quite a lot on Smart Sports Trader because I think it is one of the most useful ways of determining whether a betting strategy is actually finding value.
For example, imagine a tipster recommends a football selection at odds of 4.00.
If those odds subsequently shorten to 3.50 before the event starts, the bet has beaten the closing price.
That doesn’t necessarily mean the individual bet will win.
But over a large sample, consistently beating the closing price can provide evidence that the bets are being placed at prices which subsequently move in the expected direction.
Bet2Invest makes this information available when analysing tipsters.
The platform also tracks market movements and provides information such as CLEV and CLV.
For serious bettors, this is considerably more useful than simply looking at a tipster’s profit figure.
Bet2Invest Strategy Builder
This is where Bet2Invest becomes particularly interesting.
The platform now has a Strategy Builder that allows you to create and backtest betting strategies using historical Pinnacle odds. It also allows you to follow strategies that othe rusers have created.
According to Bet2Invest, the Strategy Builder has access to up to 10 years of Pinnacle odds for football, with at least five years available for other sports.
You can build strategies using different filters, including:
- Sport
- League
- Team
- Market
- Odds
- Form
- Match conditions
- Timing
- Historical performance
You can then run the strategy against historical data to see how it would have performed.
This means you could take an idea such as:
Back home favourites between certain odds in major football leagues.
And test it against historical Pinnacle data rather than simply assuming the strategy works.
That’s a potentially very useful tool.
Backtesting Betting Strategies
Backtesting is particularly interesting for anyone who enjoys developing their own betting systems.
Rather than placing hundreds or thousands of bets to find out whether an idea works, you can initially test the concept against historical data.
Bet2Invest says its database contains more than 1.5 million settled matches and up to 10 years of historical Pinnacle data.
The backtests provide statistics such as:
- Number of bets
- Profit and loss
- Yield
- Drawdown
- Performance over time
You can also use opening or closing prices depending on how you want to test the strategy.
Obviously, backtesting comes with an important warning.
A strategy performing well historically doesn’t guarantee that it will continue to work in the future.
There is always the possibility of overfitting a strategy to historical data.
However, having the ability to test an idea before risking real money is still extremely useful.
Can You Automate Bets?
Bet2Invest also offers betting automation through Pinnacle.
The important point here is that your money doesn’t actually pass through Bet2Invest.
Instead, you can connect the strategy to your own Pinnacle account through the official API and automate the execution of qualifying bets.
This could be particularly useful if you have created a strategy that generates a large number of bets, the platform also allows you to automate following a tipster.
Rather than manually checking the platform and placing every bet yourself, the strategy can identify qualifying bets and automation can handle the execution.
Obviously, automated betting isn’t something I’d recommend jumping into without thoroughly testing a strategy first.
A profitable backtest doesn’t necessarily mean the strategy will perform the same way when traded with real money.
Want Pinnacle Opening Odds?
Bet2invest also offer the ability to be notified of Pinnacle’s opening odds. This is done via Telegram and has a small subscription cost of £8.99.
Bet2Invest Pricing
Bet2Invest’s Strategy Builder currently has several subscription options.
The Analyst plan is priced at €49.95 per month and includes features such as strategy creation, backtesting and up to 100 picks per month.
The Sharp plan costs €119.95 per month and increases the number of picks and strategies available while adding features such as additional filters, CSV exports and API access.
The Edge plan is €239.95 per month and adds further features including more picks, unlimited strategies and sports and additional automation options.
There are also discounted prices available when paying for longer periods.
The pricing is therefore quite a bit higher than a basic tipster subscription.
However, Bet2Invest is also offering considerably more than a simple tipster service.
If you’re only looking for a few daily betting tips, there are cheaper options available.
If you’re interested in actually developing and testing betting strategies, the pricing becomes easier to justify.
Is Bet2Invest Legit?
This is obviously an important question when you’re dealing with any betting-related service.
One thing I like about Bet2Invest is the emphasis on transparent results.
The platform states that tipster results are calculated using Pinnacle data rather than relying purely on manually entered results.
It also provides information about CLV and market movements.
Bet2Invest currently lists more than 20,000 active members and almost 2,000 tipsters on its website, although these figures are platform-reported and will naturally change over time.
There is also a sizeable collection of customer reviews on Trustpilot. At the time of writing, Bet2Invest has a 4.7/5 TrustScore from around 105 reviews, with the majority being five-star reviews.
It’s worth remembering that reviews are only one piece of evidence when assessing a betting service.
The more important thing for me is the transparency of the actual betting data.
What I Like About Bet2Invest
Transparent betting results
This is probably the biggest advantage.
Using Pinnacle odds gives Bet2Invest a consistent benchmark for measuring tipster performance.
CLV information
For serious bettors, being able to look at CLV rather than simply profit is a major advantage.
A losing bet can still be a good value bet, while a winning bet can still be a bad bet.
CLV helps provide some context.
Strategy Builder
The ability to build and backtest your own strategies is a really interesting feature.
Instead of blindly following someone else’s selections, you can try to develop your own approach.
Large historical dataset
Having access to years of Pinnacle odds means you can test strategies over a much larger sample than you could realistically create yourself.
Automation
For anyone running a systematic betting strategy, the ability to automate bets through your own Pinnacle account could save a considerable amount of time.
What I Don’t Like
It can be complicated for beginners
Bet2Invest isn’t really aimed at someone who simply wants to place a couple of football bets at the weekend.
Terms such as CLV, yield, backtesting, liquidity and automation can be quite intimidating if you’re new to sports betting.
Backtesting doesn’t guarantee future profits
This is perhaps the biggest warning I’d give anyone using the platform.
Finding a strategy that made money historically doesn’t mean you’ve discovered a guaranteed money-making system.
Markets change, strategies become less effective and historical data can sometimes produce misleading results.
You still need to test strategies carefully and allow for variance.
Who Is Bet2Invest For?
I think Bet2Invest is much more suited to serious sports bettors and people interested in betting systems than casual punters.
If you simply want someone to tell you what bets to place, you probably don’t need everything the platform offers.
But if you’re interested in questions such as:
- Does this tipster actually find value?
- Does this strategy beat the closing line?
- How would this betting system have performed historically?
- Can I develop my own profitable strategy?
- Can I automate my betting?
- Is this tipster’s profit actually backed up by good betting prices?
Then Bet2Invest becomes much more interesting.
Bet2Invest Review – My Verdict
There are plenty of tipster websites where the main selling point is a large historical profit figure.
The problem is that profit alone doesn’t tell you the whole story.
What I like about Bet2Invest is that it tries to go deeper than that.
The use of Pinnacle odds, CLV tracking and detailed performance statistics gives you considerably more information to work with.
The new Strategy Builder takes things a step further by allowing you to actually build and backtest your own betting strategies against historical Pinnacle data.
For me, that’s probably the most interesting part of the platform.
It fits particularly well with the approach I take to betting on Smart Sports Trader: rather than simply looking for winning bets, I’m much more interested in finding evidence that a strategy is consistently taking better prices than the market ultimately offers.
There are still obvious limitations.
Backtesting isn’t proof that a strategy will make money going forward, and the more advanced features aren’t cheap.
But if you’re serious about sports betting and want to analyse strategies using actual market data rather than relying purely on tipster claims, Bet2Invest is certainly worth taking a closer look at.
Bet2Invest Pros & Cons
Pros
- Pinnacle-based results
- CLV tracking
- Detailed tipster statistics
- Large historical database
- Strategy Builder
- Backtesting functionality
- Betting automation
- Free strategy following
Cons
- Can be complicated for beginners
- Backtesting doesn’t guarantee future profits
- Some advanced features require more expensive plans
Overall
Bet2Invest is much more than a traditional tipster platform.
The combination of verified Pinnacle results, CLV analysis and strategy backtesting makes it particularly interesting for serious bettors who want to take a more data-driven approach.
If you’re just looking for betting tips, there are simpler options.
But if you want to dig into why a strategy works, whether a tipster is genuinely beating the market and how a betting system performs over thousands of historical bets, Bet2Invest has some genuinely useful tools.
